Shoes Slip Resistance Tester
Theshoe slip resistance tester applies a specified load, sets a specified number of friction cycles and speeds through different media (wood, PVC, ceramic tiles, or specified). To measure the friction coefficient of the shoe sole and determine the anti-skid performance of the shoe, complying with EN 13287:2019, ISO 20344:2021, ISO 13287, and related standards.
Key Functions & Principles:
Purpose:
Measures the dynamic coefficient of friction (CoF) between footwear outsoles and slippery surfaces.
Theshoe slip resistance tester can evaluates slip risk under water, oil, or glycerol-contaminated conditions (e.g., industrial floors).
Testing Method:
Pendulum Principle:
A spring-loaded pendulum arm with a standardized rubber slider (simulating a shoe sole) swings across a test surface.
The slider contacts a contaminated test tile (e.g., ceramic tile, steel plate with glycerol).
