DIN 53516/ISO 4649 DIN Rubber Soles Abrasion Resistance Tester

Instrument Introduction:

The DIN abrasion testing machine fixes the test piece in the test piece seat of the testing machine, applies a certain pressure to the test shoe sole through the test piece seat, and performs frictional forward motion on the rotating drum of the testing machine covered with wear-resistant paper. After a certain distance, the weight wear of the sole test piece before and after friction is measured. Based on the specific gravity of the sole test piece and the correction coefficient of the standard rubber, the relative volume wear of the sole test piece is calculated, and the wear resistance of the test piece is evaluated by the relative volume loss of the sole test piece.

Main functions:

The DIN abrasion tester is suitable for wear and tear testing of elastic materials, rubber, tires, conveyor belts, transmission belts, shoe soles, soft synthetic leather, leather, and other materials. A 16mm diameter sample is drilled from the material and placed on the wear testing machine to calculate the pre grinding mass loss of the test piece. The wear resistance performance of the test piece is evaluated based on the density of the test piece.
