The safety shoe antistatic tester mainly tests and evaluates the safety shoes, protective shoes and occupational shoes with anti-static function. A closed circuit composed of steel balls and copper plates is passed through the tested sample under a certain standard voltage to test the resistance value, anti-static and insulation resistance range of the tested sample to evaluate whether the tested sample has anti-static performance.
The test can complete the anti-static performance of protective shoes/soles according to European standards, national standards, Canadian standards and American standards.
The safety shoe antistatic tester is an essential piece of equipment for Quality Control (QC) laboratories, footwear manufacturers, third-party certification bodies, and industries requiring strict electrostatic discharge (ESD) control, such as electronics manufacturing, chemical plants, and explosive atmospheres (ATEX environments). It accurately determines whether footwear meets the critical antistatic requirement with a resistance between 100 kΩ and 1000 MΩ.
