Among all the performance characterization methods for photovoltaic devices, the IV characteristic test is undoubtedly the most intuitive, effective, and widely applied technique. By measuring the IV characteristic curve and further analyzing the data  with the IV curve tester, one can directly understand the various physical properties of the photovoltaic devices, including the efficiency of photoelectric conversion, fill factor, short-circuit current, and open-circuit voltage. These data of the IV curve tester provide a reliable basis for the research, quality control, and application of photovoltaic devices.

Hardware System

1. Class AAA LED Solar Simulator

The LED-AAA series LED solar simulator is an ideal sunlight source for scientific research, representing a perfect upgrade from the current xenon light source solar simulators. Its superior characteristics make it more suitable for the study of solar cells, semiconductor materials, and biological sciences.

2. Digital Source Meter

This system supports Keithley 24xx series source meters.
3. Standard Solar Cell
 
The standard solar cell is designed and packaged to fully comply with the requirements of IEC60904-2 and can be used for irradiance calibration of various steady-state or transient solar
simulators. The spectral response range of the standard solar cell covers (300~1200) nm. The cell itself includes one current signal output port and one temperature signal output port, both of which
use the four-wire method to output signals. The internal cell size is 20mm by 20mm, and the type can be chosen from standard monocrystalline, polycrystalline, PERK, HIT, or provided by the
customer. A PT100 high-precision thermistor is pre-embedded directly below the cell to accurately output the cell temperature signal. The signal output interface uses an original LEMO interface, equipped with two signal output lines (one end is a LEMO four-wire male connector, and the other end is four banana plugs; if a custom interface is required, please specify in advance). The cell encapsulation glass can be customized according to customer needs.
4. Low Resistance Test Fixture 
This product is designed for electronic devices with a single common electrode and multiple counter electrodes, such as perovskite solar cells, organic solar cells, OLEDs, and QDsLEDs.
 
 

Software System

This software supports both GPIB cards and RS-232 serial ports, and can be used for electrical output and testing of Keithley 24xx series digital source meters.
