The helmet testing equipment is developed and produced by our company for the safety inspection of fire helmets. The product can effectively test the impact absorption performance and penetration resistance of the helmet. Widely used in fire research institutes, helmet manufacturing enterprises, national quality inspection units.

The Helmet testing equipment uses high-precision acceleration and displacement sensors to ensure accurate and reliable measurement, easy to operate, fast and accurate.

Uses: Helmet testing equipment is suitable for impact impact test of helmets. It is a kind of test instrument used to judge the impact resistance of helmets and the penetration resistance of helmets. This machine adopts computer control technology, automatically lifts the hammer to the predetermined height, and displays the height at any time, and displays the speed value, HIC, action time, impact energy, etc. on the computer. The instrument has good reliability and high precision.

Fire helmet standard content:

Penetration resistance

Requirement: The steel cone should not establish electrical contact with the head mold.

Test device and main indicators

1) Head mold: It should meet the requirements of Appendix A of GB 2811-1989. The conductive mold should be provided above the base line of the head mold and connected to the contact indicator by wires;

2) Concrete base: the quality is not less than 500kg;

3) Impact gantry: A test rig that is capable of lifting and releasing the steel cone so that it is free or directed to the drop;

4) Steel cone: made of steel, mass 3kg, cone angle 60°±0.5°, cone tip radius 0.5 mm±0.1mm, cone height 38mm, cone tip hardness HRC55~HRC60, steel cone is also connected by wire Contact indicator

5) Contact indicator: When the steel cone and the conductive surface of the head mold establish electrical contact, the contact indicator shall indicate that the response time shall be less than 0.5 ms.

2. Impact absorption performance

Requirements: The maximum impact force of the head mold should not exceed 3780N.

Test device and main indicators

1) Concrete base: the quality is not less than 500kg;

2) Head mold: It should meet the requirements of Appendix A of GB 2811-1989;

3) Impact rig: A test rig that is capable of lifting and releasing the weight so that it is free or directed to the drop;

4) Steel hammer: It should be uniform and symmetrical, and the mass is 5+0.10kg. Its head is half-spherical with a radius of 50mm ± 1mm and a chord length of not less than 75mm;

5) Test and analysis system: It consists of load cell, signal amplifier and data processing, display, recording and other instruments.

The frequency response range is from 0 Hz to 5000 Hz; the force measurement range should meet the requirements of 6.4.1; the measurement accuracy is ±2.5%.
